Method 2: Update Firmware via the Boot Loader

After the Write command you should see:

Tftp should start to automatically download the file. The download will

take approximately 2 minutes.

and press Enter, or cycle power to the Lynx. The Lynx should boot normally

to the newly updated image.

Once the update is complete, you must flush the browser’s cache. After the

browser’s cache is flushed, the browser must be restarted or refreshed so that

a new image of the web client application will be loaded from the Lynx. Not

flushing the browser’s cache may cause the browser to re-use the previous

version of the application instead of the newly updated version. As the

procedure for flushing a browser may differ from one browser to another,

please consult the appropriate documentation of each unique browser to learn

how to flush the cache.
