I. Lynx's Internal Batteries
The Lynx Digital Signal Analyzer contains two 1.55v silver oxide watch type
batteries. Mirion recommends using Energizer 357-303A batteries (or equivalent).
When the internal Lynx battery voltage becomes low, as indicated on the Diagnostics
| Maintenance | Readings option, the “RTC Battery” status is highlighted in red and
the batteries will need to be replaced. The following procedure describes how to
replace the batteries in the Lynx.
Lynx Battery Replacement
To replace the batteries:
1.
Make note of the current Lynx setup (IP Address, DHCP setting , etc.).
Replacing the batteries will reset the Lynx to the default factory settings.
2.
Power down the unit.
a.
Using the hardware utilities in Genie 2000 or APEX turn off the high
voltage.
b.
Disconnect the unit from the detector, computer / network and power
supply.
3.
Remove the top and side covers as shown below (12 screws).
