Setting MCS Acquisition Parameters
From the Navigator view, select the Acquisition option and then Acquisition |
General tab to set acquisition preset conditions, Acquisition | Advance tab to set
sweep parameters, or Acquisition | External Control tab to set external control
parameters.
Setting Hardware Parameters
From the Navigator view, select Hardware to display the Lynx hardware settings.
These include:
•
High Voltage Power Supply
for controlling the high voltage settings.
•
Gain for controlling front-end parameters.
•
Digital Filter for controlling the digital pulse processing.
•
Stabilizer
for setting spectrum stabilization parameters.
•
Auxiliary Counters for controlling the digital-input counters and viewing
data.
• External Synchronization for setting external synchronization signal
properties when using MSS, LIST, and TLIST acquisition modes.
•
Sample Changer
for setting and controlling the sample changer interface
parameters.
•
Single Channel Analyzers for controlling the SCA counters over the PHA
spectrum range and viewing data .
Sample Energy Calibration
From the Navigator view, select Acquisition | Calibration to display the
Calibration equation. This option displays the energy calibration coefficients only.
These coefficients are used to convert from channel to energy in the spectral plot. A
proper calibration can be performed using Mirion’s software like Genie 2000, Apex,
or ProSpect.
