RDS features are only available for
use on FM stations which
broadcast RDS information.
In rare cases, a station may
broadcast incorrect information
that will cause the radio features to
work improperly. If this happens,
please contact the radio station.
When you are tuned to an RDS
station, the station name will
appear on the display instead of
the frequency.
Most RDS stations provide their
station name, the time and a
program type for the current
programming.
Stations may also provide the
name of the program being
broadcast.
If the audio system is tuned to a
station that is not broadcasting
RDS information, the station's
frequency will remain on the
display.
In areas where the Radio Data
System is not available, your
radio's
RDS (Radio Data System)
mode is not operable, and should
not be activated.
Display Control
Press the INFO button repeatedly
to display an RDS station name,
frequency, program type,
program name, or other text infor-
mation (if available). If the button
is pressed when information is not
available,
NO INFO or NO
INFORMATION will appear on the
display.
