Exiting the Vehicle
To make it easy to get in and out
of the vehicle, you can use the exit
button.
The automatic transmission must
be in
P (Park) or with a manual
transmission, the parking brake
must be engaged.
Pressing this button recalls the
memory exit position. A chime will
sound and the seat will move all
the way back. If your vehicle is
equipped with the telescopic
power tilt steering wheel, the
steering wheel will move up and
towards the instrument panel.
You can also use the Driver Infor-
mation Center to select when the
easy exit position will be recalled.
• If your vehicle is equipped with
the Remote Keyless Entry
transmitter, the easy exit
position may be recalled when
the key is removed from the
ignition.
• If your vehicle is equipped with
the Keyless Access transmitter
and the ignition switch is
turned to the off position, the
easy exit position may be
recalled when you open the
driver’s door.
