How to Connect the EtCO

 Sensor

Connect the CO

2

 sensor cable to the CO

2

 connection port on the

Vivo 45 (according to the instruction “Connecting and Disconnecting
the Cables” on page 85).
A green LED indicates that the CO

2

 sensor is ready to use.

Snap the CO

2

 sensor probe on 

top of the airway adapter. It will 
click into place when properly 
sealed.

3

Perform a CO

2

 zeroing procedure.

4

Connect the airway adapter to 

the patient circuit.
