Low Pressure and Disconnection Alarms

Start treatment and disconnect the patient circuit.

Wait 15 seconds.

The Low Pressure Alarm and/or the Disconnection Alarm will be

given.

Stop treatment. Test completed.

Low Vte Alarm

Start treatment and block the patient circuit completely to simulate

an occlusion.

Wait 15 seconds.

The Low Vte Alarm will be given.

Stop treatment. Test completed.

Obstruction Alarm

Start treatment; block the patient circuit completely to simulate an

obstruction.

Wait approximately 10 seconds.

The Obstruction Alarm will be given.

Stop treatment. Test completed.
