handling unfeasible, special equipment
must be used to avoid damage and injury.
Persons authorised for this purpose must
be trained and experienced in the work in
question to avoid risks to themselves and
other persons.
The person authorised to
handle the product must take
all necessary precautions to
safeguard his own safety and that of all
other persons involved.
4.2.2 MOVING THE PACKAGES

handling the package. The lifting and
handling equipment (e.g. crane or lift
truck) must be of adequate capacity for

4.2 HINWEISE ZUM VERSTELLEN
4.2.1 HINWEISE ZUM VERSTELLEN
Das Verstellen der Pakete muss gemäß
den vom Hersteller direkt auf der Verpa-
ckung aufgeführten Anweisungen erfolgen.
Da ein Verstellen von Hand aufgrund des
Gewichts und der Form der Pakete nicht
immer möglich ist, müssen hierfür Geräte
eingesetzt werden, um Verletzungen und
Sachschäden zu vermeiden. Die damit be-
trauten Personen müssen über die nötigen
Kenntnisse und die nötige Erfahrung verfü-
gen, damit die Sicherheit aller Beteiligten
gewährleistet ist.
Die mit dem Verstellen des
Geräts betraute Person muss
alles Notwendige veranlassen,
um die Sicherheit aller Beteiligten ga-
rantieren zu können.
4.2.2 VERSTELLEN DER
VERPACKTEN GERÄTE

Zum Entladen und Abstellen der Pa-
kete eine abgegrenzte und ausrei-
chend große Stelle mit ebener Fläche
wählen.

Die zum Bewegen der Pakete not-
wendige Ausrüstung vorbereiten.
Bei der Wahl der Hubgeräte und Ge-
räte zum Verstellen (z.B. Krane oder
Hubwagen) müssen das zu bewe-
gende Gewicht, die Abmessungen,
die Hubpunkte und die Schwerpunkt-
mitte berücksichtigt werden. Diese
Daten sind, sofern sie nicht bekannt
sind, auf dem Paket angegeben.
Das Anseilen schwerer Pakete kann
mit Hilfe von Ketten, Bändern und Sei-
len erfolgen, deren Eignung anhand
des stets angegebenen, zu hebenden
Gewichts geprüft werden muss.

Beim Bewegen der Pakete sollten die-
se immer waagrecht gehalten werden,
damit das Risiko eines Wegkippens
durch Instabilität vermieden wird.
