7.1.2 COOLING COIL

The cooling coil, designed for integration in
a cooling circuit created by the customer, is
installed inside the gear unit sump and is
normally not removable.

)RU RSWLPDO HI¿FLHQF\ WKH FRROLQJ FLUFXLW

supply must comply with the following

VSHFL¿FDWLRQV

ü

max. pressure 8 bar

ü

HDP 60 … HDP 90

ü

 PLQÀRZUDWHOPLQIRU

HDP 100 … HDP 140

ü

max. water temperature 20°C

Cooling water can circulate through the coil
in either direction.
If the cooling water is very hard the use of a
water softener is recommended.
To avoid excessive energy consumption it
is good practice to equip the cooling circuit
with a thermostatic valve that admits cool-
ant only when the gearbox oil reaches a
temperature in the region of 70°C.

,QWKHFDVHRIIUHH]LQJWHPSHUDWXUHVRUORQJ

periods of disuse, to avoid possible dam-
age, the cooling water should be drained
from the circuit and compressed air blown
through the empty circuit to eliminate all re-
sidual moisture.

Before starting the gear unit
ensure that all the connections
have been made properly.

It is also advisable to check the connection
cross section periodically to ensure that it
is free from sediment and/or obstructions

nal cooling system. If necessary, clean the

FLUFXLWE\ÀXVKLQJZLWKDVXLWDEOHFKHPLFDO

agent, checking with the manufacturer that
the cleaning agent is compatible with the
construction material of the coil.

Pay the maximum attention
when using hazardous chemi-
cal detergents and take all the

necessary precautions to ensure they
are disposed of in compliance with the
law.

The interval for checking the condition of
the coil and any maintenance work de-
pends on the characteristics of the cooling
water used (refer to the maintenance sec-
tion).

by observing the condition of the lubrica-
tion oil in the gear unit, which will display
a high degree of foaming if it has become
contaminated with water.

7.1.2 KÜHLSCHLANGE

nen Kühlkreis vorgesehen ist, für dessen
Realisierung der Kunde zu sorgen hat, be-

len Betriebs muss der Versorgungskreis
folgende Vorgaben erfüllen:

ü

Max. Druck 8 bar

ü

Mindestdurchsatz 5 l/min für
HDP 60 … HDP 90

ü

Mindestdurchsatz 10 l/min für
HDP 100 … HDP 140

schiedslos beide Richtungen zugelassen.

tischen Ventil zu versehen, das den Was-

Öl des Getriebes eine Temperatur von ca.
70°C erreicht hat.
Bei Frost oder längeren Stillständen ist zur
Vermeidung möglicher Schäden das Kühl-
wasser aus dem Kreis abzulassen, wobei
eventuelle Restmengen mit Druckluft zu
beseitigen sind.

Vor dem Start des Getriebes ist
sicherzustellen, dass alle An-
schlüsse ausgeführt wurden.

Zudem ist regelmäßig der Querschnitt der

rungen und/oder Verstopfungen zu über-
prüfen, die die Funktionstüchtigkeit der
thermischen Hilfsvorrichtung beeinträchti-
gen: Falls erforderlich, eine entsprechende
Reinigung durch Spülen mit geeigneten che-
mischen Mitteln ausführen; hierzu mit spe-
zialisierten Unternehmen der Branche ab-
stimmen, welche Reinigungsmittel mit dem
Material der Kühlschlange kompatibel sind.

Bei Verwendung von gefähr-
lichen chemischen Reinigungs-
mitteln stets mit größter Vor-

sicht vorgehen und zu deren Entsor-
gung die einschlägigen gesetzlichen
Vorschriften beachten.

Das Zeitintervall zur Kontrolle des Zustands
der Kühlschlange und die eventuellen War-
tungseingriffe sind von den Eigenschaften
des verwendeten Kühlwassers abhängig
(siehe Abschnitt der Wartungseingriffe).
Ein eventueller Defekt der Kühlschlange
ist am Erscheinungsbild des Schmieröls
innerhalb des Getriebes zu erkennen, wel-
ches bei Mischung mit Wasser zunehmend
schäumt.
