Operating Instructions and Parts List for the Quantum Flex

Trimmer

ASSEMBLY OF HANDPIECE (CONTINUED)

Cam Installation into the Cam Plate Assembly - Small Tools Only

Models: X350, X360, X440, X500, X505,
X500A, X564, X620, X625, X620A

•

Position the cam plate assembly so that the two spring wires

are visible and the curve is facing away from you.

•

Apply a small amount of WhizLube Spray on each of the two

spring wires

Refer to Section 7, Also Available.

•

With small tabs facing upward, insert the cam into

the cam plate assembly, positioning the cam slot as

shown.

Note: The location of the chamfer on the

cam is at the top left.

•

Using a flat blade screwdriver, apply a light, downward

force and turn the cam clockwise about 1/4 turn until it

stops.

NOTICE:

Make certain the two small ledges on the cam go

under the spring wire during the assembly.
