Level Switch
Inspection of Level Switch
The level switch is located on the top of the
hydraulic tank and switches "ON" and "OFF"
according to the rise and fall of the float. (The
arrow indicates the float travel distance.)
The relay can be determined to be good or
faulty by measuring its continuity.
Use a circuit tester and check that the
continuity is in the following condition.
Float top: no continuity
Float bottom: continuity

Replacement of The Level Switch
Important
Be careful that dirt does not fall into the
hydraulic tank.
Remove the bolts, spring washers, and
washers of the hydraulic oil level sensor
mounting plate, and then remove the level
switch from the hydraulic tank.
Completely remove the seal and liquid
gasket adhesive from the hydraulic tank
after removing the level switch.
Apply liquid gasket to the new seal, and
install the level switch in the reverse order
as the removal steps.
