6. Slowly move the proximity switch closer
to the plastic magnet and secure the up/
down sensor mounting plate when LED
①
illuminates.
Start the engine and check that the
traveling/working selector switch is set to
"Working."
Move the mower unit up/down and check
that the mower unit stops at the position
that the proximity switch is adjusted to.
Adjustment of Proximity Switch /#5 Mower
Follow the same steps as the proximity
switch /#4 mower, and adjust the
proximity switch /#5 mower after
adjusting the height of the #5 mower unit.
When adjusting the proximity switch /#5
mower, check the illumination condition
of LED

Adjustment of Proximity Switch/Parking Brake
Proximity switch/parking brake detects the
position of the brake pedal.
This signal operates relay 6/brake switch,
and is related to the engine stop/start and
buzzer 2.
Follow the steps below to make adjustments.
Important
Adjust proximity switch /parking brake to the
specified position where the proximity switch
no longer reacts.
Adjust the plastic magnet attached to the
brake pedal so that its bottom surface is
parallel with the parallel line A as shown in
the figure.
