Adjustment of Proximity Switch /#2 Mower
The proximity switch /#2 mower detects the
position of the #2 mower unit lift arm.
This signal controls the rotation start position
of the #2 and #3 reel cutters.
Follow the steps below to make adjustments.
Important
Be sure to check that the following have been
adjusted before adjusting the proximity
switch /#2 mower.

Important
Adjust proximity switch /#2 mower so that the
point at which the proximity switch begins
reacting is the specified distance.
Apply the parking brake, and then stop the
engine.
Adjust the plastic magnet attached to the
#2 lift arm so that its bottom surface is
parallel with the tip of the part to which the
plastic magnet is attached.

Start the engine and raise or lower the
mower unit, until the distance (A) from the
ground to shaft center of the #2 mower
connecting fitting is 480.0 mm (18.90 in).
