Remove the proximity switch/neutral
coupler.

Move the key switch to the "ON" position.
Note:
The buzzer may sound when doing so,
however this is not a malfunction.
Loosen the bolt securing the brake pedal
side P brake sensor plate, and move the
proximity switch toward the plastic magnet
to a position where the buzzer does not
sound.

Slowly move the proximity switch away
from the plastic magnet, and secure the P
brake sensor plate in a position where the
buzzer starts to sound.
After adjustment, check that the buzzer
does not sound at notch 1, but sounds at
notch 2.
Return the proximity switch/neutral coupler
to its original position.
Adjustment of Proximity Switch/Traveling
Pedal Application Position Detection
Proximity switch/traveling pedal application
position detection detects the position of the
traveling pedal.
This signal operates in coordination with
relay 9/overload detection and is related to
buzzer 2.
Follow the steps below to make adjustments.
Important
Be sure to check that the following have been
adjusted before adjusting the proximity switch/
traveling pedal application position detection.

Apply the parking brake, and then stop the
engine.
