See Figure 14. Disconnect the diode from the Red/Green wire and connect a DC voltmeter as shown.

If the meter reads 36 volts, replace the diode.

If the meter reads 0 volts, check the forward and reverse switch mechanism (see

Forward/Reverse

Switch

section). If the switches work properly, replace the electronic interlock.
