SCRUB BRUSH SYSTEM

LEFT GEAR CASE REMOVAL

Put the scrub brushes on the machine, turn the key switch ON and put the brush switch in the ON (I)
position. When the brushes are all the way down, turn the key switch OFF and disconnect the battery
(connector behind the right-rear door).

Remove the solution tank from the machine (see
Solution System
chapter for instructions).

Remove the lower-front corner panel from the left side of the machine.

See Figure 8. Disconnect the top end of the spring “M” from the bracket on the frame.

Remove the (2) “N” bolts and turn the (2) “P” bolts to loosen tension on the brush belt. Then remove the
belt from the motor pulley.

Disconnect the scrub brush motor wires from their terminals.

Remove the 4 “Q” bolts and lift the scrub brush motor out of the machine.
8
Pull the (2) solution hoses off the (2) solution tubes (just above the brush holders).
9
Loosen the (3) “R” set screws and remove the (3) “S” bolts.
