84 Program features

over the sensor. The temperature measurement function calculates the resistance of
the sensor and generates an indication if overtemperature is detected.

Leave the sensor end of the cable shield unconnected.

For wiring of the sensor, refer to the drive hardware manual

The figure below shows typical PTC sensor resistance value as a function of
temperature.

In R0...R2 frames, when an analog output is not available or used for other purposes,
it is possible to setup a voltage divider connection that uses the internal resistance of
a digital input.
