Menu 2 WAN Backup Setup 

This chapter describes how to configure traffic redirect and dial-backup using menu 2, 2.1, 2.2 

and 2.2.1. 

25.1  Introduction to WAN Backup Setup 

This chapter explains how to configure the Prestige for traffic redirect and dial backup connections. 

25.2 Dial Backup 

To set up the auxiliary port (

DIAL BACKUP 

on the Prestige 652 or 

AUX

 on the Prestige 652H/HW) for 

use in the event that the regular WAN connection is dropped, first make sure you have set up the port 
connection (and the 

CON/AUX

 switch to 

AUX

 on the Prestige 652H/HW) and then configure:
