18.2 OLT Port Setting

Use these screens to configure downstream data encryption and/or broadcast and
multicast transmission rate limit on a PON port. You can also configure up to ten
port rule profiles and apply them to upstream or downstream PON traffic.

Default Upstream
CoS

IEEE 802.1p defines up to eight separate traffic types by inserting a
tag into a MAC-layer frame that contains bits to define class of service.

Set the default upstream priority that the OLT gives to the frames
without an explicit priority tag and/or ToS field.

ToS to CoS

Select a priority level (between 0 and 7) in the drop-down list box,
with which the OLT replaces the priority value in the packets. The
bigger the number, the higher the priority.

CoS to CoS

Select a priority level (between 0 and 7) in the drop-down list box,
with which the OLT replaces the priority value in the packets. The
bigger the number, the higher the priority.

Apply

Click Apply to save the changes.

Copy to...

Click the Copy to.. button to copy the configuration from the device
that you are currently configuring to other device(s) of the same
model.

Close

Click Close to exit the screen.
