The following table describes the labels in this screen.

EPON Profile Configuration > Add Policy Link Rule Profile
LABEL
DESCRIPTION
Active
Select this check box to enable the profile.
Clear this check box to disable the profile.
Name
Enter a descriptive name (up to 20 alphanumerical characters) to identify
this profile.
Precedence
Select an ordering number between 0 and 7 for this profile. If a packet
matches more than one profile and the specified actions conflict with each
other, the OLT applies only the profile with the highest precedence. 0 is
the highest precedence level and 7 is the lowest.
Rule
Index
This is the index number of the rule. A packet should match all the rules
in this section before the OLT performs the actions you specified below.
Active
This field displays whether the rule is enabled.
Field
This field displays the packet filtering criteria.
Left Mask
This field displays the mask used to define how many bit(s) from the left
will turn to zero and not be used for comparison when the specified value
is right-aligned.
Right Mask
This field displays the mask used to define how many bit(s) from the right
will turn to zero and not be used for comparison when the specified value
is right-aligned.
Operator
This field displays the operator that applies to the incoming packets.
Value
This field displays the value the incoming packets should match.
Set...
Click Set... to edit a filtering rule.
Action
Index
This is the index number of the rule.
Active
This field displays whether the rule is enabled.
Action
This field displays the actions the OLT takes on the packets that match the
corresponding filtering criteria.
VLAN Layer
This field displays whether the OLT is to set the outer VLAN tag (Service
VLAN) or inner VLAN tag (Customer VLAN).
This field is applicable only when the Action is Add VLAN Tag, Delete
VLAN Tag, Clear Add VLAN or Clear Delete VLAN.
TPID
This field displays the Tag Protocol Identifier (TPID), a four-digit
hexadecimal number from 0000 to FFFF that the OLT adds to the matched
packets.
This field is applicable only when the Action is Add VLAN Tag.
CoS
This field displays the CoS value the OLT adds to the matched packets.
This field is applicable only when the Action is Add VLAN Tag.
VID
This field displays the VLAN ID number the OLT adds to the matched
packets.
This field is applicable only when the Action is Add VLAN Tag.
