DESCRIPTION
Active
Select this check box to enable this rule.
Clear this check box to disable the rule.
Field
Select the packet filtering criteria.
Left Mask
The value format in a Boolean comparison is 64-bit long.
If the value you specified is less than 64 bits, select a mask between 0 and
63 to define how many bit(s) from the left will turn to zero and not be used
for comparison when the specified value is right-aligned. This is useful when
you want to check only few bits in a pre-defined field, such as the 3-bit CoS
value (by setting the left mask to 48 and the right mask to 13) or 12-bit
VLAN ID (by setting the left mask to 52) in a 32-bit VLAN tag.
For example, if the value you specified is a network address with a 24-bit
subnet mask, set the left mask to 32 and the right mask to 8.
Right Mask
The value field is 64-bit long in a Boolean comparison.
If the value you specified is less than 64 bits, select a mask between 0 and
63 to define how many bit(s) from the right will turn to zero and not be
used for comparison when the specified value is right-aligned. This is useful
when you want to check only few bits in a pre-defined field, such as the 3-
bit CoS value (by setting the left mask to 48 and the right mask to 13) or
12-bit VLAN ID (by setting the left mask to 52) in a 32-bit VLAN tag.
For example, if the value you specified is a network address with a 24-bit
subnet mask, set the left mask to 32 and the right mask to 8.
