Explanation
Displaying the Waveform Data
Before carrying out the procedures in this section, the waveform data must be stored on
the VB8300 internal hard disk, CF card, or USB memory.
To display the waveform data on the VB8300 internal hard disk, set the directory to the
VB8300 internal hard disk (show “/” in the Selection box) and then select the waveform
data file.
To display the waveform data saved on a CF card or USB memory, set the directory to
CF card or USB memory (show “/compact (or /usbmem)” in the Selection box) and select
the waveform data file.
Displayable Waveform Data Formats
The waveform data in the following formats can be loaded.
Raw data (.raw extension)
ASCII data (.csv extension)
Binary data (.bin extension)
Waveform Display
The waveform data stored on the VB8300 internal hard disk, CF card, or USB memory
can be displayed as waveforms with the vertical and horizontal axes as voltage and time
(data points), respectively.
Note
•
The waveform data that can be displayed is up to the first 2,000,000 points.
•
For the setup procedures on the Configure menu, see section 8.6.
Waveform to Be Displayed
You can select the waveform from below.
I
Displays only the I waveform.
Q
Displays only the Q waveform.
Both
Displays both the I and Q waveforms. If the I and Q waveforms take on an exact same
shape, Q is displayed on top of I.
Vertical (Y) and Horizontal (X) Axes
• Vertical Position (Y Position)
You can set separate vertical positions for I and Q.
Selectable range: –5.00 to 5.00 V (in 0.01 V steps)
Default value: 0.00 V
Y Position 2.00 V
Y Position 0.00 V
