Selecting the Output Format
You can select the output format when digital output is selected in step 5.

. The format of the
output waveform in the Wave View list is set to the selected item.
Explanation
Selecting the Analog or Digital Output
You can select whether to set the waveform output to analog output or digital output.
Anlg
Outputs analog signals from the output terminal sets (OUT1 to 4). The output from the IQ
DIGITAL OUT terminals on the rear panel is turned OFF.
Dgtl
Outputs the 14-bit digital signals of the waveform data from the IQ DIGITAL OUT terminals on
the rear panel. The analog signal output from output terminal sets (OUT1 to 4) is turned OFF.
• You can set the waveform output for each output terminal set (OUT1 to 4).
• For detailed specifications of the digital output signal, see section 13.5.
Note
You cannot select analog or digital output while waveform generation is in progress.
Output Format
You can select the digital output format. You can select the format when digital output is
selected.
2 Complement
Inverts the highest bit (2’s complement)
Offset Binary
Raw data of the waveform as-is. The data format of the raw data of the waveform that the
V8300 handles is offset binary.
