Setting the Voltage Offset
3.
Press the
Offset
soft key. The Offset menu appears.
4.
Press any of the
Common I
,
Common Q
,

keys
to select the item of which to set the offset voltage.
5.
Enter the offset voltage using
numeric keys & ENTER
. The Comm-I, Comm-Q,
Diff-I, or Diff-Q under Offset in the Option View list is set to the specified value.
Explanation
The output terminal sets (OUT1 to 4) and the analog signal applied to the ANALOG SUM
EXT IN terminal can be summed and output from the ANALOG SUM OUT terminal on
the rear panel. The amplitude of the signal that is output from the ANALOG SUM OUT
terminal depends on the amplitude of each signal that is added. The gain is 0 dB.
Selecting the Summed Signals
You can select whether to sum the signals individually for the output terminal sets (OUT1
to 4) and the external signal (External In) terminal on the rear panel.
ON
Select ON to sum the signal.
OFF
Select OFF not to sum the signal.
Voltage Offset (DC Voltage)
You can set an offset voltage to the voltage level of I and Q. The type and range are the
same as the voltage offset described in section 5.4. The setting entered here is applied
to the voltage offset of the signal output from the ANALOG SUM OUT terminal. The
common-mode offset setting of section 5.4 does not apply.
