Updating the VB8300 Firmware

Press the

Program Update

soft key. A dialog appears for you to confirm the

update operation.

Turn the

rotary knob

to select OK or Cancel.

Press

SELECT

. If you selected OK in step 9, the update operation is executed.

If you selected Cancel, the update operation is not executed. A message is

shown while the update operation is in progress. When the updating is finished,

a message appears prompting you to turn the power OFF. Restart the VB8300.

The VB8300 boots up using the updated firmware.

Updating the Printer Driver

Press the

Printer Driver Update

soft key. A dialog appears for you to confirm

the update operation.

Turn the

rotary knob

to select OK or Cancel.

13.

Press

SELECT

. If you selected OK in step 12, the update operation is

executed. If you selected Cancel, the update operation is not executed. A

message is shown while the update operation is in progress. When the

updating is finished, a message appears prompting you to turn the power OFF.

Restart the VB8300. The VB8300 boots up using the updated firmware.
