FILE Key

• Displays a menu used to save various types of data to the internal hard disk, CF card,
or USB memory and load the data to the VB8300.
• Displays a menu used to copy/delete files, rename files and directories, and create
directories.
OPTION Key

Displays a menu used to set the functions of options. For models with the /AT option, a
menu used to set the analog sum is displayed.
MISC Key

• Displays a menu used to set the date/time/time zone, set screen image printing, set
the network, and set the calibration, self-test, and remote control.
• Displays error logs and the VB8300 system status (firmware and the presence/
absence of options).
SHIFT + MISC (PRINT) Key

Prints screen images and saves screen image data.
PRESET Key
(Section 12.2)
With a single key operation, sets the VB8300 back to the setup saved as preset data.
SHIFT + PRESET (INITIALIZE) Key
(Section 12.3)
Resets the setup configured using keys to factory default.
KEYLOCK Key
(Section 12.5)
Disables the setup operation using front panel keys (locks the keys) excluding the
operation of turning the power ON/OFF and turning key lock OFF.
SHIFT + KEYLOCK (UNLOCK) Key

Clears the key lock.
DISPLAY ON/OFF Key
(Section 12.4)
Turns the display OFF by turning the backlight OFF when the display does not have to
be turned ON.
