Grease Replacement (Refer to " Fig. 27 L-Axis Speed Reducer Dia-
gram ".)
1.
Make the L-arm vertical for ground.
2.
Remove the Lo exhaust plugs.
3.
Inject grease into the Li grease inlets using a grease gun.
4.
The grease replacement is complete when new grease appears in the Lo exhaust
ports. The new grease can be distinguished from the old grease by color.
5.
Move the L-Axis for for a few minutes to discharge the excess grease.
6.
Wipe the Lo exhaust plugs with a cloth and reinstall the plugs.

Grease Replenishment/Replacement for U-Axis
Speed Reducer

If grease is added without removing the exhaust plugs, the grease will go inside the motor
and may damage it. It is absolutely necessary to remove the plugs.
Grease type: Molywhite RE No. 00
Amount of grease: approx. 200cc
For ceiling mounted manipulators, the exhaust port and the grease inlet are inverted.
