10. Press the Online
H
button to put the printer back online.
(The green online indicator light is lit.) The MMF is now
ready to receive a print command from the host. Unless
otherwise directed through your application software or
through a printer command, the MMF is the only source for
your print job.
Note: You cannot print a configuration sheet from the MMF.
Note: If you use the MMF as the default tray at the control
panel, your job should contain a paper size selection command
issued before the margin command or the page size used will be
the current default under the PAPER SIZE, BYPASS in the MAIN
MENU. If you are using a #10 envelope in the XES emulation,
you must use the
E
zybF command in your job. See the 4213
Laser Printer Programmer Reference for more information on this
command.
Saving the setting for the MMF
Use the following buttons at the control panel to save your MMF
selection for the emulation as defaults, to be in place each time
the printer is switched on.
1. Press the Online
H
button to take the printer off line. (The
green online indicator light is not lit.)
2. Press the Reset
G
button to access the Reset Menu. The
display reads:
RESET MENU
EMULATION RESET
3. Press the Last Page
C
button until the display reads:
RESET MENU
SAVE DEFAULTS
4. Press the Select
D
button to select the option.
5. Press the Online
H
button to put the printer back online.
(The green online indicator light is lit.)
