Repeated or multiple jams
caused by a fragment of a
piece of paper. If one of the following jam
codes (such as: 1020,1021,
1022, 1023 or 1024) appears
and clearing the jam in the
normal manner does not stop
the problem. Yes? Carefully check and remove
all paper under the following
areas:
•
Top cover of the printer
•
Refeed baffle.
Make sure the entire piece of paper
is intact. If fragments are missing,
attempt to locate and remove them.
Printer operation problems
Table 6-3 shows, in detail, the problems and possible solutions
when there are problems with the operation of the printer.
Note: When attempting to find a solution to a problem with the
operation of the printer, ensure to go through each of the check
points listed for the table entry.

even if you turn the power
switch to the On position. Is the power cord correctly
plugged into the AC outlet? No? Plug the power cord into the
AC outlet.
Is the power cord correctly
connected to the AC inlet of
the printer? No? Connect the power cord to
the AC inlet on the printer.
Yes? Call your local Rank Xerox
service representative.
The printer does not print. Is the power cord correctly
plugged into the AC outlet? No? Plug the power cord into the
AC outlet.
