XEROX COAX/TWINAX OPTION
Using the IBM Twinax interface
This section describes the Twinax option available at the control
panel and how you may set them.
IBM Main Menu Twinax option
Once the physical components of the interface are connected
and the XES emulation has been set up, the XCTO may need to
be set up, or configured to meet the needs of your office. The
configuration options are set through the IBM Main Menu.
Note: The factory defaults refer to those defaults in place when
the interface is first installed. You can change the factory
defaults to meet your particular needs. Defaults are the settings
in effect each time the system is switched on.
The menu is accessed from the printer control panel.
By configuring the interface, you are establishing your own
default settings. There are two types of changes to the interface
configuration.
•
Permanent settings which remain unchanged even through a
power off/on cycle.
•
Temporary settings which remain current until a software
command to change the setting is received, or the printer is
switched off.
The options available for IBM Twinax interface are:
•
