XEROX COAX/TWINAX OPTION
Using IBM Twinax Utility Menus
This section shows how to use the IBM utilities and provides
samples of the expected printed outputs.
Printing a Twinax configuration sheet
Follow these steps to print a Twinax configuration sheet:
H Press the Online button to take the printer off line. (The green
online indicator light is not lit.) Next press and release the Menu

button to display MAIN MENU/PRINTER LANGUAGE. (If the
display reads IBM MAIN MENU/IBM BUTTONS, skip the next four
steps.)

Press the Last Page button until the display reads MAIN
MENU/HOST INTERFACE. Now press the Test
B
button to
display the interface headings available. The display reads HOST
INTERFACE/IBM COAX/TWINAX*. Next press the Select
D
button
to select the option Coax/Twinax.
Press the Test
B
button th display IMB MAIN MENU/IBM
BUTTONS. Now press the Last Page
C
button until the display
reads IBM MAIN MENU/IBM UTILITIES. Press the Test
B
button
again to display IBM UTILITIES/PRINT CONFIG. Press the Test
B
button again and the display reads PRINT CONFIG/ENABLED.
Next press the Select
D
button to enable printing of the
configuration sheet. Last, press the Online
H
button to put the
printer back online. (The green online indicator light is lit.) A
Twinax configuration sheet will be printed, as shown in figure 3A-
20.
