Task 2. Replacing the print cartridge
Replace the print cartridge by following the steps below:
1. Open the top cover by lifting the top cover access handle.
Caution: Do not leave the top cover open for more than ten
minutes or the light will damage the print cartridge.
2. Grasp the green handle of the old print cartridge and slide it
out about one-third of the way. Hold it with both hands
and remove it from the printer.
Caution: Avoid touching the shiny, blue surface of the print
cartridge. Damage to the blue surface can cause print defects.
3. Put the used print cartridge in the box which held the new
print cartridge and recycle or dispose of according to local
regulations.
Caution: Do not burn the old print cartridge.
