seal was removed.

CARTRIDGE B APPEAR? Yes? Replace the toner cartridge.
No? Call your local Rank Xerox
service representative.

An area or the print has a
missing or an extremely
light image. Is the paper damp, dusty,
dirty, or damaged? Yes? Use paper from a new
package. (Always use high-
quality paper).
Is paper in the tray creased
or wrinkled? Yes? Remove the creased or
wrinkled paper, or use paper
from a new package.
No? Call your local Rank Xerox
service representative.

Print is missing or faint in
strips (perpendicular to
the paper transport
direction). Is paper damp? Yes? Use paper from a new
package.
No? Call your local Rank Xerox
service representative.
Residual image

The previous print is
printed along with the
current print.
Are the environmental
conditions appropriate? No? Improve the environmental
conditions (refer to the
“Installation planning” section
of chapter 1).
Yes? Replace the fuser wick and
the print cartridge.
