XEROX COAX/TWINAX OPTION
Saving user defaults
You must use the SAVE DEFAULTS option to save any changes
made to the printer configuration settings if you wish these
settings to be permanent and active each time the system is
switched on. Otherwise, when your system is switched off and
then on again, the configuration returns to the configuration that
was previously saved.
You must exit the Main Menu and access the Reset Menu to save
your selections as the Coax or Twinax configuration defaults.
1. There are two ways to exit the Main Menu:

Press the Menu button until OFF LINE appears in the
message display.
or
H
•
Press the Online button. The printer is online. The
green online indicator light is lit.
H
•
Press the Online button again to take the printer off line.
The green online indicator light is not lit.
Note: Do not use this way of exiting the Main Menu after
changing the option settings for the IBM Comms menus. This is
because if you put the printer back online, you will lose all the
new option settings except for those associated with the IBM
Communications.
Use the following buttons to save your selections as the IBM
Twinax default configuration:

2. Press the Reset button to access the Reset Menu. The
display reads:
RESET MENU
EMULATION RESET
C
3. Press the Last Page button until the display reads:
RESET MENU
