AirAura X1 / Dec 2016

Source (Analog L/R)
Allows the user to route either the FM processing or the HD processing to
the analog L/R XLR jacks on the rear of the processor. To change this setting,
left click on the knob and use the mouse wheel to switch between MPX OUT
and PILOT. Left click again to confirm your choice.
Level (Analog L/R)
Adjusts the output gain of the selected source. The range of the control is
-79.95dB to 0dB in 0.05dB steps. OFF is also available if the control is turned
fully counter clockwise. To change the control, left click on the knob and use
the mouse wheel to increase or decrease the value.
Pre-Delay (Analog L/R)
If FM is selected as the analog L/R output, this option allows you to pick
off the FM processed signal before the diversity delay that’s used to match
the analog FM signal to the latency of the HD signal. This pre-delay signal is
helpful if you are monitoring the output of the X1 for processing adjustments,
or if you need to feed your talent headphones with a low latency output.
To change this setting, left click on the knob and use the mouse wheel to
switch between YES (audio is pulled before the delay) and NO (audio will
have diversity delay IF diversity delay is applied). Left click again to confirm
your choice.
De-Emphasis (Analog L/R)
If FM is selected as the analog L/R output, this option de-emphasizes the
analog L/R output jacks. The de-emphasis applied here follows the curve of
the pre-emphasis selected on the FM Limiter page (see page 3-32).
To change this setting, left click on the knob and use the mouse wheel
to switch between YES (audio is de-emphasized based on the selected pre-
emphasis curve) and NO (audio will be pre-emphasized). Left click again
to confirm your choice.
Level (FM Digital)
Adjusts the output gain of the FM digital signal. The range of the control is
-79.95dB to 0dB in 0.05dB steps. OFF is also available if the control is turned
fully counter clockwise. To change the control, left click on the knob and use
the mouse wheel to increase or decrease the value.
Type (FM Digital)
The digital output has two options for the type of output. The first is base
-
band192 (BB192). When set to BB192, the digital output XLR jack on the rear
of the X1 carries the Wheatstone baseband192 AES over MPX digital composite
signal that is compatible with exciters designed to ingest a digital composite
signal.
