Digital Emphasis
There are four options for this control that governs the type of de-emphasis is
placed on the FM AES output. You can select the output to be after the diversity
delay and FLAT, before the diversity delay and FLAT, after the diversity delay
and DE-EMPHASIZED or before the diversity delay and DE-EMPHASIZED
(it should be noted that “PD” means PRE-DELAY and “D” means DELAY).
To adjust, tap the control. You will see a green ring indicating the control is
active and ready to be changed. Turn the knob to select the option you desire
for that output. Once the correct selection has been made, push in the knob to
confirm

Analog Out + Emphasis
This control governs the analog utility L/R output jacks on the rear panel
of the X1. They can be assigned as FM outputs with various options for de-
emphasis, or as another HD output. The options are HD, FM after the diver-
sity delay and FLAT, FM before the diversity delay and FLAT, FM after the
diversity delay and DE-EMPHASIZED or FM before the diversity delay and
DE-EMPHASIZED (it should be noted that “PD” means PRE-DELAY and
“D” means DELAY).
To adjust, tap the control. You will see a green ring indicating the control
is active and ready to be changed. Turn the knob to select the option you desire for that
output. Once the correct selection has been made, push in the knob to confirm.

Analog Output Level
Changes the L/R analog output level. If you are adjusting this output to feed
an STL or exciter, you should have a modulation monitor set up to ensure this
control is properly adjusted to match the modulation regulations of your area.
To adjust, tap the control. You will see a green ring indicating the control is
active and ready to be changed. You will want to have use the front panel knob
to select amount. You should see the modulation increase or decrease on your
monitor. Once the correct mode has been selected, push the knob in to confirm.
