Input Settings Follow Preset Takes
By default, when the X1 changes presets, its input settings (levels, input source, balance)
are static. If you wish to have special input levels for different presets, or change any of
the following, you will need to check this option and then save your current preset with
the adjusted input settings.
The following settings are allowed to change when this special option is checked:
• Current Audio Source (Analog, Digital or WheatNet-IP)
• Analog Gain
•
Digital Gain
• Balance (common to both Analog and Digital Inputs)
•
Phase Rotator
•
Insert Point Loop
The X1 also has a set of output controls which can be dependent on preset takes. The
option for that can be found in the MPX& Output menu and a list of controls that can be
changed when that option is selected can be found on page 2-23, Chapter 2.
EQUALIZER MENU
The four band equalizer has four independent bands. Band 1 and 4 are shelving filters
while Bands 2 & 3 are fully parametric. The two parametric bands can be adjusted in the
following way:
Center Frequency – 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
Bandwidth – 0.2 to 3.0 octaves.
Boost/Cut – +/- 14.0dB.
The Band 1 Shelving EQ has a frequency range of 20-500Hz and can have a boost or
cut of 14dB. The Band 4 Shelving EQ has a frequency range of 2kHz to 20kHz and can
have a boost or cut of 14dB.
The controls of the equalizer may be manipulated in three ways:
1.
The first is by directly clicking on and dragging the control sliders in the parametric
equalizer control screen. As the controls are manipulated, numerical representations
of the control settings appear in the boxes below the band that is being adjusted.
