10-Band HD Limiter
To access the HD limiter metering on the front panel touchscreen, tap “View HD”. The
FM limiter controls will be replaced by the HD limiter controls, brings up the controls for
the 10-band limiter. Now you can adjust limiter drive, threshold, attack and release.
MB Lim Drive
Determines the amount of input signal applied to the 10-band limiter —
less drive creates a more gentle sound while still controlling peaks. Higher
settings make the sound more aggressive by increasing short term density. The
range is 80-100%.
To change the MB Lim drive, tap the control. You will see a green ring
indicating the control is active and ready to be changed. Use the front panel
knob to increase or decrease the gain. The level will change in real time as you
move the knob. Once you have reached the desired level, push in the knob to
confirm the new value.
Threshold Master
Determines the threshold of the 10-band limiter. The range is -6dB to +6dB
with the center position being AUTO (program dependent).
To change the threshold master, tap the control. You will see a green ring
indicating the control is active and ready to be changed. Use the front panel
knob to select the type of release. The processing effect will change in real time
as you move the knob. Once you have reached the desired setting, push in the
knob to confirm the new value.
