X1 Sub Menus
Right clicking anywhere on the GUI brings up the X1 sub menu options. Many of these
options are redundant and this menu serves as a shortcut to access them.
View
The View menu allows you to launch the Analysis
screen as well as change the current processing page. The
options for Input, Equalizer, AGC, HD Limiter, FM
Limiter, MPX_Outputs and System duplicate the menu
option buttons between the metering and controls.
About... – Displays the version of the GUI.
Choose Skin... – Allows you to change the skin color/
texture. As the X1 product evolves, Wheatstone may release
different versions of skins. This is where a user would
go to select a new skin. As of the printing of this manual
(December 2016), there is only one default skin available.
File Paths...
– Display the location of various files
that the X1 GUI needs to reference for correct operation.
Exit – Closes the GUI.
Hardware
The Hardware menu duplicates some of the options found elsewhere in the X1 and
are shown here as a shortcut.
Devices...
– Opens up the application to config
-
ure a the GUI to talk to a specific X1 based on its
hardware address. For information about this, please
see page 3-6.
If configured properly, clicking ON-LINE MODE
will allow the GUI to connect to the target hardware.
Event Scheduler... duplicates the Preset Sched-
uler button in the SYSTEM menu, while the
Device
Processing Password... and Device Output Pass-
word ... duplicate the corresponding buttons in the
SECURITY section of the SYSTEM menu.
Version... – Queries the hardware and displays the current version running on the
hardware.
Update Co-Processor... and Update Front Panel... allows you to update the audio
processor when updates are made available from Wheatstone (see page 3-59).
Enable HD Processing... and Enable WheatNet-IP Streaming... should normally be
greyed out if all options on the X1 have been purchased. If you do not have operational
HD processing or WheatNet-IP audio capabilities, please contact Wheatstone at techsup
