AirAura X1 / Dec 2016
F R O N T P A N E L G U I
As you change the IP Addresses, you will see the address list to the right of the knobs
reflect the new addresses you are entering.
NOTE: The actual IP address will NOT change until you are ready to reboot. You
should reboot after all network settings are made and confirmed.
Once your network settings have been assigned, press the APPLY ALL CHANGES
button. You will need to reboot the processor for the new address to validate.
NOTE: The Windows-based GUI and WheatNet-IP connectivity will happen on the
Hardware (HW) IP address.
Front Panel IP Address (FP)
This is the reserved address that the front panel (not
the remote GUI on the PC!) uses to communicate with the
X1 system board. In a perfect world, this address should
ALWAYS be configured to be one number higher than the
IP address that you’ll assign to the X1’s “Hardware” ad-
dress, but on the majority of networks should never end
in “0” or “255.”
Hardware IP Address (HW)
This is the address of the X1’s DSP array and is the address that remote GUIs run-
ning on host computers will use to connect to and control X1 over your network.
Subnet Mask
The subnet mask entry must be appropriate for the network being used. Please see
your local friendly IT person if this is a bit confusing.
Gateway
This is the Gateway Address that the X1 will use to reach connections outside of its
own internal network. If you are on a local LAN segment or connected to the X1 by a
direct Ethernet connection, the Gateway address is not usually necessary.
Diversity Delay
Tapping the DELAY and TIMEOUT blue button on the system page brings up the
menu to delay the analog FM signal in order to match the HD transmission delay.
