Choose one of the options to password protect by clicking on it. You may enter any
alpha-numerical password you wish up to EIGHT characters (the password IS case
sensitive). The system will ask you to verify the password before accepting it. REMEM-
BER YOUR PASSWORD! Your processor will be locked out without it and you will
need to contact Wheatstone to reset it.
Once the password(s) have been entered, you will see a new option to LOCK the
processor.
Pressing LOCK will restrict access to the processor parameters that have assigned
passwords. In the example above, the PROCESSING settings are locked, but the OUT-
PUT settings are unlocked.
If at any time you lose the password, click on the FACTORY CLEAR PASSWORDS
option. Follow the instructions.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to clear the password, you will need to take the code gen‑
erated by the processor when you tap the FACTORY CLEAR PASSWORDS option
and contact the factory. Wheatstone cannot reset your passwords without the code.
Versions
Tapping the blue VERSIONS button
brings up the information about the current
software running on the processor. This may
be useful when contact support to discuss
issues.
Also included here is the option to
change the source feeding the front panel
headphone. The options are ACTIVE IN-
PUT, ANALOG INPUT, DIGITAL INPUT,
HD OUTPUT, FM PRE-DELAY and INSERT LOOP RETURN.
To adjust, tap the control. You will see a green ring indicating the control is active and
ready to be changed. Turn the knob to select the option you desire for that output. Once
the correct selection has been made, push in the knob to confirm.
Status
The front panel also shows the STATUS of the processor. Green
indicators show when a feature is active, red shows audio loss or
an inactive feature.
Here, the ANALOG input has no audio (Red status indicator).
The Digital AES/EBU input has audio (Green status indicator)
and is also active (as seen by the”active” status next to the word
“Digital”).
•
There is no audio or AES sync at the Insert Return
•
The time of day is updated as noted by the green indicator
•
WheatNet-IP is disconnected (red indicator)
