INSTALLATION AND OPERATION
PART B: CONSOLE CONTROLS
The HD800 is a multi-option sonar designed for easy
operation and interpretation. Following are some
simple instructions and guidelines to help tailor the
HD800 to your fishing or navigational needs.
1.0 POWER
To turn on your sonar, push the POWER Button. When
power is applied the following will occur:
1.1 The monitor will show the system test screen for
10-20 seconds.
1.2 The Hoist Down light will turn red if the hoist
switch is in the down position.
1.3 The cooling fan, located on the console back panel,
will start to spin.
1.4 The console front panel lights will illuminate, vis-
ible under low light conditions.
During this period the sonar performs a system test. When
all the functions are operational, the screen will display:
SYSTEM TEST PASS
If other messages are displayed, consult your dealer or
WESMAR.
In addition to system test, the version of the software is
also displayed.
2.0
HOIST
The HOIST Switch raises and lowers the soundome.
If the HOIST Switch is in the down position, the
soundome will lower when the console is turned on
and raise when the console is turned off.
