mode.
If you exited text mode by mistake, simply double click any letter shape with the left mouse
button to return to text mode. You can also access text mode by selecting the “Edit Text”
command under the Edit menu.
Editing Text in Text Mode
Vision Pro offers a great deal of power and flexibility when editing and modifying text. You
can change fonts, letter heights, line spacing, slant, kerning, and many other options during
text entry. The basic text editing techniques are very similar to those in a most standard
word processor programs.
Changing text attributes requires that you first select the text you wish to modify by
highlighting the characters. This is done by dragging the selection while holding down the
left mouse button until you have all the characters selected that you want to modify. If you
release the mouse button before everything is selected, simply click once in the text frame to
cancel the current selection and try again. You can highlight multiple lines as long as they
are in the same text object (paragraph) and are adjacent to each other. You cannot
highlight characters that are not next to one another. The screen display below shows a 3
line job with line #2 highlighted.
