you press the Text icon the following flyout will be displayed:
Left click the “A” in the flyout (the first icon) to change the selection pointer to a text cursor.
The screen below will appear and you can begin text entry and editing. You will notice the
dotted line in the center of the sign blank. This is the fixed text frame and the text will not go
outside of this frame.
Once you have finished entering text, simply left click outside the text frame box to exit text
mode. If you are entering Frame Text, the frame will be aligned with the sign blank, so you
will need to click outside the sign blank. The text toolbar will be replaced with the normal
Vision Pro status bar and the text object will have the selection rectangles visible on the
newly added (or edited) object.
New Text vs. Editing Existing Text
As discussed above, new text objects are added to your layout through the Text icon on the
left toolbar. Each time you use the Text icon a new text object is created.
Existing text is modified or edited by simply double clicking on the desired text with the left
mouse button. Note that the select tool arrow changes to a cross when you are over a line
in the on screen letters. You must see this cross when you double click to select the object.
For example, you cannot put the cursor inside the letter “O”, but instead must place the
cursor on the outline of the letter to see the cross cursor. After double clicking to edit, you
