3.3 Synchronising Information
When you connect your Lobster 700TV to the PC, ActiveSync will
immediately synchronise. While the Lobster 700TV is connected,
ActiveSync synchronises every time you make a change on either the
PC or your Lobster 700TV.
To manually start and stop synchronisation
1. Connect your Lobster 700TV.
• To synchronise local information on the PC, such as Outlook
information or media files, connect your Lobster 700TV to the
PC using Bluetooth or a cable.
• If you are synchronising directly with Exchange Server, you
can use the connection to the PC to access the network,
or you can synchronise over a cellular connection without
connecting to the PC.
2. In ActiveSync, click Sync . To end synchronisation before it
completes, click Stop .
Synchronise Outlook information with PC
If you have set up a synchronisation relationship between your Lobster
700TV and the PC, synchronisation keeps Outlook information up-to-
date on both of them.
You can also set up your Lobster 700TV to synchronise with more
than one PC, or with a combination of one or more PCs and Exchange
Server. When synchronising with multiple computers, the items you
synchronise will appear on all of the computers with which they are
synchronised. For example, if you have set up synchronisation with two
PCs (PC1 and PC2), which have different items, and you synchronise
Contacts and Calendar on your Lobster 700TV with both computers,
the result is as follows:
