Administrator PC requirements
The administrator PC must meet the following requirements:

Operating system
: The following operating systems can be used:
• Microsoft Windows 2000
• Windows Server 2003, base release or higher
• Windows XP SP2 or higher
• Windows Vista, base release or higher
• Windows 7 (32- and 64-bit versions), base release or higher
Note: You should have your Microsoft operating system disks on hand in case you need
to install any Windows components required to connect to the Wave Server.

Processor:
Minimum Pentium 233 MHz PC.
•
Memory:
Minimum 64 MB RAM.
•
Network connection:
TCP/IP connection to the Wave Server via an Ethernet card or
modem.

Software:

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1, 7.0, or 8.0:
Other browsers have not ben tested.
Be sure that Internet Explorer is configured to connect directly to the Internet—do
not connect using a defined proxy server.

Browser pop-up blocker software:
Some of the Wave Global Administrator
Management Console applets display dialogs and warnings automatically. If you
have installed browser pop-up blocker software on the administrator PC, or popup
blocker software is enabled by default in your browser, these pop-ups may not be
displayed. You can usually configure pop-up blocker software to allow pop-ups
from specific domains or IP addresses.

Java Runtime Environment:
Be sure to use the version of Java Runtime
Environment (JRE) that came with your Wave Server—do not upgrade to a newer
version that you obtain elsewhere. Failure to use the correct version of JRE may
result in a variety of problems, including not being able to import and activate
licenses, not being able to access certain Wave dialogs, Windows displaying blank
or incorrect information, and other user interface problems.
