About the Wave workstation applications
The Wave workstation applications provide end users with a point-and-click Windows interface
for common Wave features. They include:
•
Wave ViewPoint
. Install ViewPoint on the PCs of users who will manage their calls,
contacts, Call Log, and voice messages from the Windows desktop.
ViewPoint is the most efficient way to use Wave, and some Wave features are available
only through ViewPoint, ViewPoint is not required in order to make and receive calls,
and most Wave features can be accessed without it by using the telephone commands.

Wave TAPI Service Provider
. Install the TAPI Service Provider on the PCs of users who
need to run the Wave Contact Manager Assistant or want to use some other
TAPI-compliant application to place calls using Wave ISM.

Wave Contact Manager Assistant
. Install the Contact Manager Assistant on the PCs of
Microsoft Outlook, GoldMine, GoldMine FrontOffice, or GoldMine Business Contact
Manager users who need to receive screen pop notification of incoming calls.
•
Wave Archived Recording Browser
. Install the Archived Recording Browser on the PCs
of users who need to search for and act on large numbers of archived mailbox recordings.
