Wave Server Installation Guide
Note the following about the Wave IP 500:
•
Digital station modules on the Wave IP 500 will show a green LED when the system is
powered on, even if the external supply (used to support digital phones) is not powered
on. This is because the card LED gets its power from the main system bus, but the card
ports themselves rely on the external power supply. You may see a green LED status
indicated for a digital station module and still not have a functional card. If this is the
case, verify that the external power supply is powered on.

On the Wave IP 500, only expansion modules are supported. You cannot install
expansion cards on the Wave IP 500.
To verify installed components:

In the Global Administrator Management Console, click
Chassis View
, located in the
General Administration section. Chassis View opens in a browser window.
The following is an example of the Chassis View on a Wave IP 500:
