Important:

It is strongly recommended that you enter all of your Wave licenses and activate

them immediately after installing your Wave ISM. Doing so avoids the disruptions described in
“Before your licenses are activated” on page 8-9.

Note:

If you configured Wave licenses via the Installation Wizard as described in Chapter 6,

you do not need to perform the steps in this chapter, unless you now want to add and activate
additional licenses.

When you activate a Wave license

The following occur when you activate a Wave license:

•

Vertical End User License Agreement (EULA).

You can optionally view the EULA,

but you

must

select the associated checkbox and accept the EULA to continue the

activation process.

•

Vertical Product Usage Improvement Plan.

You will be asked if you want to

participate in the PIP. Doing so will allow Vertical to gather installation, deployment, and
usage information to better understand how customers configure and use Wave, and assist
in identifying and prioritizing areas for improvement. Participation in the plan is
voluntary.
