setting range is 0~99ms.
SD Cont
This parameter indicates whether the Surge or Drop is triggered automatically or manually. When this
parameter is set to “ON”, press ON/OFF button, the system will execute the trigger action continuously,
sending a Surge or Drop wave every 100ms. When this parameter is set to “OFF”, press ON/OFF button,
the instrument will execute trigger action every time when pressing TRIG button. This parameter is
displayed when the Surge/Drop option in <ProgramSetup> COMMON page is turned on.
Assume that the output voltage is 100V, the output frequency is 50Hz, the SD voltage is 60V, the SD site is
25ms, and the SD time is 1ms. If the SD Cont function is set to "OFF", press TRIG button one time, the
drop waveform is shown in figure 5-4.
Figure 5-4 Manual Triggered Drop
Assume that the output voltage is 100V, the output frequency is 50Hz, the SD voltage is 50V, the SD site is
10ms, and the SD time is 10ms. If the SD Cont function is set to "ON", the system will continuously
execute the trigger action, a surge/drop is generated every 100ms cycle or so. The surge/drop waveform is
shown in Figure 5-5.
